Personal Data Protection Policy by Constellation Avocats [updated on 26/10/2020]

1.1 – Cookies necessary for your navigation on the website

1.1.1 – When you browse the Constellation Avocats website, Constellation Avocats collects personal data about you, for the exclusive benefit of Constellation Avocats, by means of purely technical cookies that are placed on your terminal (computer / tablet / smartphone, etc.). This processing of your personal data is (i) necessary for your navigation on the Constellation Avocats website (art. 6.1 (b) RGPD) and (ii) necessary for the legitimate interest of the security of Constellation Avocats’ information system (art. 6.1 (f) RGPD).

1.1.2. – You will find this information in the « cookie banner » which will appear on the home page of the Constellation Avocats website and on which you will be invited to click on the « I understand » box.

1.2 – Database for sending blog articles

1.2.1 – You can give your email address to Constellation Avocats to receive the articles posted on the blog. With your prior consent, therefore (article 6.1 (a) RGPD), Constellation Avocats collects and processes your email address (which is undeniably a « personal data ») only in order to send you a notification of new articles available and freely consultable on the blog. You can withdraw your consent at any time (article 17 RGPD) by clicking on the unsubscribe link that will be proposed to you in each notification you receive. Your e-mail address will then be deleted from Constellation Avocats’ database.

1.2.2 – If you receive a notification without having registered, it is because Constellation Avocats has your e-mail address collected directly by one of Constellation Avocats’ lawyers (Constellation Avocats does not buy e-mail lists). You may at any time exercise your right to object to prospecting by Constellation Avocats (article 21.2 RGPD) by clicking on the unsubscribe link which will be proposed to you in each notification you receive. Your e-mail address will then be deleted from Constellation Avocats’ database.

1.3 – Contact form

1.3.1 – If you wish to contact Constellation Avocats, you can use the contact form accessible from the footer of the website, your email address will be used (i) to reply to you and (ii) for the Constellation blog postings database. After twenty-four (24) months (CNIL decision n°SAN 2020-003 of July 28, 2020) from the date of your question, and if you have not subscribed to one of Constellation Avocats’ services, your contact data will be deleted from Constellation Avocats’ database.

1.4 – Breach of your personal data

1.4.1 – As required by the RGPD, in the event that Constellation Avocats becomes aware of a breach of its personal data, Constellation Avocats will inform the CNIL within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
